An Autonomous Obstacle-Avoidance Rover
Post by Souleymane Dembele on Mar 01, 2024
A team rover on a TI TM4C (ARM Cortex-M4) that detects and steers around obstacles.
What it does
The rover uses sonar to find obstacles within a meter and steers around them when the path is blocked, advancing when it is clear. Bluetooth and UART handle on/off control, and PWM drives the wheel motors. It was developed and tested in Keil uVision. This was the first-phase rover that the later MPC rover built on.
